Just want Aristotle?
Hello, my name is Aristotle. A long, long time ago, in the year 384 BC, I was born in a sunny place called Greece. When I was a little boy, my head was full of questions. I would look at a wiggly worm and ask, 'Why do you wiggle?'. I would look at the night sky and ask, 'Why do you twinkle, little star?'. I asked 'Why?' all day long. My father was a doctor, and he helped people feel better. Watching him made me even more curious. I wanted to know all about the animals, the plants, and the people in our big, wonderful world.
When I grew up, I went to a special school to learn new things. My teacher was named Plato. He was very wise and taught me to think big thoughts. I loved learning so much. After many years, I became a teacher, too. It made me so happy to share my ideas. I had a very special student. He was a prince named Alexander. I taught Alexander to look closely at the world. We talked about animals, stars, and how to be kind and brave. I told him, 'Always be curious. Always ask questions'. It was so much fun to see him learn and grow.
After a while, I opened my own school. We would walk around a beautiful garden and talk about our big ideas. I wrote all my ideas down in books so that everyone, even after I was gone, could learn them. I wanted everyone to feel the joy of asking questions. I grew very old and then I died, but my books and my questions are still here for you. Always remember, it is a wonderful thing to look at the world and wonder.
