Just want Charles I of Spain?
Hello! My name is Charles. I was born a long, long time ago, in the year 1500. When I was a little boy, I learned that one day I would be a king. I would get to wear a big, shiny crown on my head. My job was to help lead my people. I was the king of a beautiful, sunny country called Spain. It was a very big and important job. I was so excited to be king and see the whole wide world!
My kingdom was so big! It was so, so big that it stretched all across the world. We had lands that were very far apart. When the sun was going to sleep in one part of my kingdom, it was just waking up in another part. People said I had a kingdom where the sun never set! Isn't that neat? I sent brave sailors on big, strong ships. They went on amazing adventures to discover new lands for our kingdom.
I was a king for many, many years. When I was older, I decided it was time for me to rest. I lived to be 58 years old. People remember me because I was the king of one of the biggest kingdoms in the whole world. My story helps everyone remember that the world is a huge, exciting place, and it's full of wonderful adventures for you to find.
