The story

A Story About Cicero

Hello! My name is Cicero. I lived a long, long time ago in a big, busy city called Rome. Even when I was a little boy, I loved to learn new things and, most of all, I loved to talk! I thought words were like magic because they could be used to share ideas and help people.

When I grew up, I became known for giving big, important speeches. If someone needed help or if I wanted to share a good idea with everyone, I would stand up and use my powerful voice to explain things. I also loved to write. I would sit down and write books about how to be a good friend, how to be fair, and how to be a kind leader. The leaders of Rome saw that I was good at helping people, so they asked me to be a leader for our whole city! It was my job to help make sure everyone was safe and happy.

I lived to be 63 years old and filled my life with words and ideas. Even though I lived so long ago, people today still read the books I wrote. They learn from my ideas about being good leaders and kind people. I am remembered as someone who believed in the power of words to make the world a better place.
