Just want Franz Liszt?
Hello! My name is Franz Liszt. I was born a long, long time ago, in the year 1811. When I was a little boy, I discovered something magical—the piano! I loved the sounds it made when I touched the keys. My father, Adam, showed me how to play, and soon, making music was my favorite thing to do in the whole world.
As I grew up, I got very, very good at playing. My fingers would dance and fly across the piano keys, playing music that was fast, loud, and super exciting! Starting in the 1840s, I traveled to many places to play for big crowds of people. They would clap and cheer so loudly! It was like a big, happy party every time I played. People called the excitement 'Lisztomania' because they loved the music so much.
Playing the piano was fun, but I also loved creating my own songs. I wrote music that told stories without any words. Some of my songs were like a fun-filled adventure, and others were as peaceful as a daydream. I lived a very long and happy life filled with music and passed away in the year 1886. Even though that was a long time ago, my songs are still here for you to enjoy and dance to today!
