Just want Heinrich Heine?
Hello! My name is Heinrich Heine. I was born on December 13th, 1797, in a German town called Düsseldorf. As a boy, I loved stories more than anything. I would read every book I could find and let my imagination run wild with tales of brave knights, magical places, and funny characters.
When I grew up, I became a writer. I wrote down all the feelings and ideas buzzing in my head. In 1827, I published my most famous collection of poems, called 'Book of Songs.' I wrote about love, the beauty of a sunset, and the sound of the sea. People loved my poems so much that famous composers turned them into beautiful songs that are still sung today. One of my most famous poems, 'The Lorelei,' tells the story of a beautiful siren singing on a rock in a river.
Sometimes, my writing was about big ideas like freedom and fairness, which made some powerful people in Germany unhappy. So, in 1831, I moved to the exciting city of Paris, France. Paris was a wonderful place, full of artists, writers, and thinkers. There, I could write what I truly believed without getting into trouble. I continued to share my thoughts with the world through my poems and articles.
Toward the end of my life, I became very sick and had to stay in bed, but I never stopped writing. I lived to be 58 years old. Today, my poems are still read in schools, and the songs they inspired are played all over the world. My story shows that words have a special kind of magic—they can share feelings, spread ideas, and live on forever in people's hearts.
