Just want Hiero II of Syracuse?
Hello. I am King Hiero. I lived a very long time ago in a sunny city by the sea. My city was called Syracuse. I loved my home very much. I wanted to take good care of everyone who lived there. It was my job to make sure all the people were happy and safe, and I worked very hard to do that.
I had a very smart friend, and his name was Archimedes. He helped me solve tricky problems. One time, I had a beautiful new crown. I wanted to know if it was made of real gold. I asked my friend Archimedes for help. He thought about it for a long time. Then, when he was in his bathtub, he found the answer. He got so excited that he jumped up and shouted, 'Eureka.' That is a word that means 'I found it.'
I always worked hard to make Syracuse a beautiful place. I built big, amazing things for everyone to see and use. I lived a very, very long life, and I was happy that I could help my people. People remember me as a kind king who made his city a wonderful place for everyone to live.
