Just want Louis XVI?
Hello! My name is Louis, and I was a prince. A long, long time ago, in the year 1754, I was born. I lived in a very big, beautiful house in France called the Palace of Versailles. It had sparkly chandeliers and a huge garden with fountains that sprayed water high into the air! I loved exploring all the rooms and playing in the gardens when I was a little boy. My grandfather was the king, and I knew that one day, I would have a very important job to do.
When I grew up, I became the king of France. It was a very big job! I wore a crown and sat on a big throne. I married a wonderful princess named Marie Antoinette, and she became the queen. We loved our country and wanted to be a good king and queen for all the people in France. We had big parties at the palace and tried to help everyone be happy.
My time as king was during a period of great change in France. People remember me as the last king before the country changed in many big ways. The beautiful palace where I lived is still there today, and people from all over the world visit to see the amazing gardens and fancy rooms where I once played as a boy.
