Just want Ötzi?
Hello! My name is Ötzi. I lived a very, very long time ago, way up high in the snowy mountains. I loved to climb the tall peaks and walk through the green valleys. The air was fresh, and the world was my giant playground!
It could get very chilly, so I had a special coat woven from grass to keep me warm and dry. My shoes were comfy and stuffed with soft grass to keep my toes cozy. I also carried a very special tool: an axe! It had a handle made of wood and a shiny blade made of a metal called copper. It was one of the first of its kind! I also had a bow and arrows to help me find food.
One day, high up on a mountain, I got very sleepy and took a long, long nap in the ice and snow. The ice kept me safe and sound for thousands of years. Then, in the year 1991, two hikers were walking in the mountains and found me! It was a big surprise! Now, you can see my special clothes and tools in a museum, which helps everyone learn about what life was like a long, long time ago.
