Just want Queen Christina of Sweden?
Hello! My name is Christina. I was born a long, long time ago, in the year 1626. I was a princess in a beautiful, snowy country called Sweden. When I was just six years old, in 1632, my father the king passed away, and suddenly, I became the queen! It was a very big job for someone so small.
Even though I was a queen, my favorite thing to do was learn. I loved books more than anything! I read and read and read. I filled my big castle with amazing books, beautiful paintings, and smart friends who loved to talk about big ideas with me. Learning was my greatest treasure, and I spent many years gathering all the books I could find.
Being a queen was important, but I dreamed of seeing the world and learning even more. So, in the year 1654, I made a very brave choice. I decided to let someone else be the ruler of Sweden so I could go on a new adventure. I traveled to new places and kept learning for my whole life.
My journey ended in the year 1689. I lived to be 62 years old, and my life was full of curiosity. People remember me as a very smart queen who wasn't afraid to choose her own path. I hope you remember to always keep learning, just like I did!
