Just want Astérix?
I may be small, but I am very brave. I wear a funny helmet with wings that wiggle when I run. My mustache is big and yellow, and my pants are bright, bright red. I live in a little village in a big, green forest. I am very clever and super quick. Hello. I am Astérix.
I was born from a giggle and a pen. Two wonderful friends in a place called France made me. One was a writer named René Goscinny, and the other was an artist named Albert Uderzo. On a special day, October 29th, 1959, they drew me for the very first time in a magazine. They wanted a hero who was smart, not just big. So they made me. They also gave me the best friends a hero could ask for. My best friend is Obelix, who is super, super strong. And I have a little white dog named Dogmatix. Woof.
My home is a happy village in a land called Gaul. This was a long, long time ago. Big armies of soldiers tried to bother us, but our village is special. We have a secret. Our friend, Getafix, knows how to make a magic potion. It tastes a little funny, but it makes us super strong. I only need one little sip. Then, I can lift giant rocks and run faster than a bunny. Our village is always safe and full of fun.
My first story was told a long, long time ago in 1959. But today, children all over the world still read my books. They watch my cartoons on TV. My adventures show everyone a big secret. You do not have to be the biggest to be the bravest. Being smart and having good friends is the best kind of magic. It is a secret that is good to share with everyone.
