The story

The Legend of Camelot

A very long time ago, there lived a kind wizard with a long white beard. His name was Merlin. In a green land with sparkly rivers, Merlin helped a young king named Arthur dream a big dream. They wanted to build a shiny, happy castle for all the good people. This is the story of that magical place, the legend of Camelot.

Merlin waved his hands and used a little magic. King Arthur and his friends worked very, very hard. Together, they built a big, beautiful castle named Camelot. Its towers were tall and white, reaching up to the soft clouds. The big gates were always open for friends to come inside. King Arthur had a special table that was big and round. It was round so everyone was the same. The brave Knights of the Round Table sat there. They promised to be kind and help everyone.

Camelot was a special place where kindness was the best magic. Even though many years have passed since the 5th century, people still tell stories about the shiny castle. The story reminds us to be brave and good friends. It helps us remember to always do the right thing. When you build a block tower or a pillow fort, you are dreaming a wonderful dream, just like the dream of Camelot.
