The story

The Legend of King Arthur

Hello there. My name is Merlin, and I have a long, white beard and a pointy hat full of stars. I live in a land of green hills and misty forests, where grand castles touch the clouds. A long time ago, the kingdom needed a good and true king, but no one knew who it would be. This is the story of how a special boy found his destiny, a tale we call The Legend of King Arthur.

In the middle of a big town square, a giant stone appeared with a shiny sword stuck inside it. A message on the stone said that whoever could pull the sword out would be the rightful king. Big, strong knights came from all over to try. They pulled and pulled. They tugged and tugged with all their might, but the sword would not move even a little bit. Then, a young boy named Arthur, who was not a knight, came along. He gently took the handle, and with a soft shiiing, the sword slid out of the stone as if it were made of butter.

Everyone was so surprised. The people cheered for Arthur. Arthur, the boy who pulled out the sword, was the true king. He grew up to be King Arthur, a very kind and brave leader. He built a beautiful castle called Camelot and gathered the best knights at his famous Round Table, where everyone was treated as a friend. He taught everyone about being fair, helping others, and being courageous. The story of King Arthur teaches us that you do not have to be the biggest or strongest to be a hero. You just need a good and kind heart.
