The story

Cinderella

Do you believe in magic? With a wave of my wand, I can make wishes come true! My name is the Fairy Godmother, and I love to help kind hearts that are full of hope. Long ago, in a cozy little house, there lived a sweet girl named Cinderella who dreamed of going to the King's grand ball. This is the story of how a little bit of magic and a whole lot of kindness changed her life forever. It's the story people call Cinderella.

Cinderella's stepsisters were going to the ball in fancy dresses, but they left poor Cinderella behind in her dusty rags. She sat by the fireplace and cried, her heart feeling as gray as the cinders. Suddenly, with a shimmer and a sparkle, I appeared! 'Don't you worry,' I told her with a smile. I found a big, round pumpkin in the garden and with a tap of my wand—poof!—it became a golden carriage. Four little mice became four beautiful horses to pull it. Then, I waved my wand over Cinderella. Her old rags turned into a sparkling blue gown, and on her feet were the prettiest glass slippers she had ever seen. 'Be home by midnight!' I warned, as the magic would disappear then.

Cinderella danced with the Prince all night, and everyone wondered who the beautiful mystery princess was. When the clock began to strike twelve, she hurried away, losing one of her glass slippers on the stairs. The Prince found it and promised to marry the girl whose foot it fit. He searched the whole kingdom, and when he finally found Cinderella, the slipper fit perfectly! Her kindness was rewarded, and they lived happily ever after. This story reminds us that even when things seem dark, a little hope and kindness can create the most wonderful magic. It helps us dream of possibilities and believe that good things can happen, and that is a magic we can all share.
