Just want Kvasir?
Hello! My name is Kvasir. I was born in a very special way, right after a long, noisy war between the two great families of gods, the Æsir and the Vanir, finally ended. To show they were friends forever, all the gods came together and mixed their magic to create me. I was made from peace, and I was filled with all the wisdom in the whole universe. It felt like having a giant library of amazing facts and fun ideas right inside my head. I loved to travel everywhere, from the snowy tops of mountains to the green, grassy valleys. My greatest joy was sharing knowledge and helping everyone I met solve their peskiest problems. But I soon learned that some greedy people wanted to keep my wisdom all to themselves. This is the story of how my knowledge was turned into a magical drink in the myth known as The Mead of Poetry.
I journeyed across Midgard, the world of humans, answering tricky riddles and helping people with clever ideas. It was so much fun. One sunny afternoon, I met two mischievous dwarf brothers named Fjalar and Galar. Their beards were long and braided, and their eyes twinkled with sneaky thoughts. They were amazed that I could answer every single question they asked. "How do you know so much?" Galar wondered. Instead of being happy to learn, they grew greedy. They wanted to capture all my knowledge and keep it like a treasure. They invited me to their home deep underground, which was cozy and filled with sparkling gems. They offered me a bowl of sweet honey, but it was a sticky trap. Before I knew it, the dwarves had captured my magical essence. They didn't want to learn from me; they wanted to own my wisdom. They took my spirit of knowledge and mixed it with sweet, golden honey in three enormous pots. It wasn't me anymore, but something new and sparkly: a magical drink they called the Mead of Poetry. They discovered that just one tiny sip could turn anyone into a brilliant poet or an amazing storyteller.

Fjalar and Galar couldn't keep their wonderful, terrible secret for long. A grumpy giant named Suttung heard about the mead and stole it from the dwarves, hiding it deep inside a cold, dark mountain. He wanted the magic all for himself. But news of this amazing treasure traveled all the way to Asgard, the home of the gods, and reached the ears of Odin, the king of them all. Odin knew that a gift as special as poetry shouldn't be locked away in the dark. So, he came up with a very clever plan. He disguised himself as a simple worker and tricked the giant into letting him have a sip from each pot. But Odin didn't take just a sip; he drank all of the mead. FWOOSH. He quickly turned into a magnificent eagle and flew as fast as his wings could carry him back to Asgard, with the giant roaring angrily behind him. Odin didn't keep the mead for himself. He shared the Mead of Poetry not just with the gods, but with the people of Earth, too. My wisdom wasn't lost forever. It was transformed into a gift for everyone. This story reminds us that stories, songs, and bright ideas are a kind of magic that belongs to the whole world. My spirit lives on every time you tell a wonderful story, write a beautiful poem, or share a clever idea.
