Just want The Town Musicians of Bremen - German?
Once there was a donkey who worked very hard. Hee-haw! He carried big, heavy sacks all day long. One sunny morning, the donkey heard his owner say he was getting old and slow, which made him feel very sad. But then, the donkey had a big, bright idea! He would go to the town of Bremen to become a musician. This is the happy story of The Town Musicians of Bremen.
On the dusty road, the donkey met a dog. Woof-woof! The dog was sad because he was too old to hunt. Soon, they met a cat. Meow! The cat was sad because she did not want to catch mice anymore. Then they saw a rooster on a fence. Cock-a-doodle-doo! The rooster was sad because he was about to be put in a soup pot! The donkey said, “Come with me to Bremen! We can start a band!” The dog could beat the drum, the cat could play music, and the rooster could sing his heart out. They all walked together, feeling much, much happier.
When it got dark, the friends saw a little house with a light on. Inside, some robbers were eating a yummy dinner! The animals decided to scare them away with their music. The donkey stood by the window. The dog jumped on the donkey's back. The cat climbed on the dog, and the rooster flew up to the cat's head. Then they all made their special music at once! “Hee-haw! Woof-woof! Meow! Cock-a-doodle-doo!” The robbers were so scared they ran away and never came back. The friends found a warm, cozy home and decided to stay there together, making happy music just for themselves.
