Hello. I am Being a Good Listener. I am the special skill that helps you understand your friends and family when they talk to you. When you use me, you show others that you care. Using me makes them feel happy and important.
First, I help you keep your body still and look at the person who is talking. Next, I help you wait until they are all finished before you speak. When your friend is sad because their toy broke, I help you listen to their whole story. This makes them feel understood and cared for.
I am always here to help you be a great friend. When you listen with your whole body, you learn new things and make your friends feel loved. I am an important part of being kind. I learned that listening is a wonderful way to show you care.
