Bravery

Hello, I'm Bravery. You might think I only show up for superheroes, but I'm with you every day. I'm not about being fearless; I'm the choice you make to act even when you're scared. I am learning to be brave, and I show up in the moments you decide to face a challenge, big or small.

You'll find me when you raise your hand in class, even if you're worried you're wrong. I'm the deep breath before a big test or the strength to apologize when you've made a mistake. I'm also there when you stand up for a friend who is being treated unfairly. It's important to know I'm not about being reckless; I'm about facing a real fear and choosing to move forward. Each time you call on me, you build your confidence and learn you can handle more than you thought. You prove to yourself that you are strong, resilient, and capable.
