The story

I Am Communication

Hi! My name is Communication. I am the special way people share their ideas, feelings, and stories. When you tell your dad about your day at school or whisper a secret to your best friend, you are using me!

I am about both talking and listening. I help you choose the right words to ask for a turn with a toy. I also help you listen carefully when your teacher reads a story. Sometimes I don't even use words! A big smile, a friendly wave, or a warm hug are all parts of me, too. They show others how you feel without saying a thing.

Sometimes I can get a little mixed up. Maybe you said something that sounded mean, but you didn't mean it that way, and it made your friend sad. When that happens, I can help you fix it. You can use me to say, 'I'm sorry.' Using me to share your feelings honestly helps everyone understand each other better.

I am a superpower that everyone has. I help you make friends, learn new things, and feel close to your family. The more you practice talking and listening, the stronger I become, and the stronger your friendships will be. I am here to help you connect with everyone around you. I will always be a part of your life, helping you grow and learn from every conversation.
