The story

I am Hope

Hello, my name is Hope. I am the warm, sparkly feeling you get when you believe something good can happen. I live inside you as a little voice that whispers, 'You can do it!' especially when things feel a little tough. Have you ever waited for a big, warm hug from someone you love? That excited, happy feeling you get while you wait is what I feel like. I am the sunny thought that tells you things will be okay.

I remember helping a child who was learning to tie their shoes. The loops and strings got all mixed up, and it felt so frustrating. The child wanted to give up and just wear slip-on shoes forever. But then, I showed up as a tiny spark inside them. I reminded them that with just one more try, they might get it right. So, they tried again. This time, the loops pulled tight into a perfect bow. The child felt so proud. That is how you know I am always there to help you keep trying. I learned that even a small spark of me can make a big difference, and I continue to grow every time someone decides to try again.
