Responsibility

Hi there. My name is Responsibility. I am the special feeling you get when you take care of your things and keep your promises. I am there when you feed your pet on the first day of the week, put your toys away on the second day, and hang up your coat all by yourself on the third day.

I love helping kids feel proud. Last week, a girl named Maya had the job of watering her class plant. On the first day, she almost forgot, but then she remembered me. For all five days of the school week, she gave the plant a drink. On the fifth day, her teacher said, 'Thank you for being so responsible, Maya.' and Maya's smile was so big. I help you show others they can count on you, and that feels amazing.

Every day, I am still here, helping you learn and grow. When you take care of something or someone, you are showing how strong and dependable you are. I learned that even small jobs can make a very big difference.
