Getting Rid of Sneaky Germs

Sometimes my hands get dirty with things I can see, like mud or paint. But they also get tiny, sneaky germs on them that I can't see, which can make me feel sick. Washing my hands sends those germs down the drain and helps keep my body healthy.

First, I turn on the warm water and get my hands all wet. Then, I get some soap and rub my hands together to make lots of fluffy bubbles. I scrub the front, the back, and in between all my fingers while I sing a little song, like 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.' After my song is done, I rinse all the bubbles off and dry my hands on a clean towel.

I always wash my hands before I eat a snack or a meal so my food stays clean. I also wash them after I play outside, after I use the potty, or after I sneeze or cough into my hands. This helps me stay healthy so I have lots of energy to play and learn!
