The story

A Calm and Happy Space

I know that tidying up is how I make my room a happy and calm place to be. When my toys are messy on the floor, it is hard for me to play. But when I put them away in their special homes, I have lots of space for new adventures. It also makes it easy for me to find my favorite things.

When I start my tidying adventure, I first pick just one kind of thing to put away, like all my building blocks. I gather every single one and put them in a big pile in the middle of the floor. Then, I put them all back in their big red bin, which is their special home. After all the blocks are put away, I do the same thing with my art supplies. I gather my crayons and paper and put them back on their shelf.

Keeping my space tidy matters because it helps me take care of my toys so they do not get lost or broken. It also makes my room feel peaceful. When I want to find my favorite costume or book, I know exactly where to look. A tidy room is a ready-for-fun room for me to play in.
