Just want Hypatia of Alexandria?
Hello! My name is Hypatia. I lived a very, very long time ago in a sunny city by the sea called Alexandria. A long time ago, around the year 400, my best friend was my dad, Theon. He showed me the magic of numbers and the twinkling stars in the night sky. We would read big scrolls filled with amazing ideas and look up at the moon and planets together. I loved learning more than anything!
When I grew up, I became a teacher. I wanted to share everything I knew! People would come from all over to listen to my ideas about math and science. I showed them how to use special tools to understand the stars. I believed that asking questions was the best way to learn. It was so much fun to see my students' eyes light up when they understood something new.
I lived a full and happy life for about 45 years, always surrounded by books and curious friends. Even though my time on Earth ended long ago, my love for asking questions and exploring the world is still remembered. I hope you always stay curious, just like I did, and never stop learning new things!
