Just want Louis XIV?
Bonjour! My name is Louis, and I was a king in a beautiful country called France a long, long time ago. I became the king in the year 1643, when I was just four years old. That is probably not much older than you are now. Because I was so little, my wonderful mother, Queen Anne, helped me rule the kingdom. She made sure everything was taken care of until I was big enough to do it myself.
I loved shiny, bright, and beautiful things. Most of all, I loved dancing and throwing big parties with music and yummy treats. I wanted a special place for my parties, so I built a giant, sparkly palace called Versailles. It had hundreds of rooms, a hall full of mirrors, and huge gardens with fountains that sprayed water high into the air. I decided to call myself the 'Sun King' because I wanted to be bright and warm for my country, just like the sun in the sky.
I was the king of France for a very, very long time. I lived to be 76 years old and my time as king ended in the year 1715. Today, people remember me as the Sun King who loved art and music. And my beautiful Palace of Versailles is still there. People from all over the world visit it to see the sparkly halls and amazing gardens I built so long ago.
