The story

Xenophon's Big Adventure

Hello! My name is Xenophon. I lived a long, long time ago in a sunny place called Greece. When I was a boy, I loved to learn new things. I had a very wise teacher named Socrates. He taught me to be curious and ask lots of questions about the world.

When I grew up, I became a soldier and went on a big adventure! I joined a group of friends, and we traveled to a faraway land. But soon, we were lost and had to find our way home. It was a very, very long journey. We had to be brave and work together as a team to walk all the way back. I helped lead my friends safely through mountains and past big rivers.

After my adventure, I loved to write everything down in books. I wrote about our long walk home and all the things I learned from my teacher, Socrates. I wanted other people to read my stories and learn about being brave and being a good friend. I lived to be about 75 years old. I am happy that my books are still here today, so children like you can hear about my amazing journey.
