Just want Marya Morevna?
In a land with green fields and sunny skies, there lived a warrior princess named Marya Morevna. She had a big, brave heart and shiny armor. She had a very good friend, a kind prince named Ivan. This is the story of their big adventure, a fairy tale called Marya Morevna. One day, the princess had to lead her army far, far away. She asked her dear friend Ivan to watch her bright, happy castle. But she told him one very important thing. 'Do not peek inside the dusty, locked closet,' she said. 'Promise you will not open that door.'
Prince Ivan was all alone in the big castle. He walked and he walked, and then he saw the dusty, locked closet. He wondered and wondered what was inside. He was so, so curious. So, he turned the key and opened the little door. Inside, he found a grumpy old magician named Koschei. The magician was all tangled up in big, clanky chains. Koschei looked very thirsty. Ivan felt sad for him, so he gave the magician a big drink of water. But *whoosh*. The water gave Koschei his magic back. He broke the chains, grabbed Princess Marya, and flew away to his dark, gloomy castle.
Oh no. Prince Ivan knew he made a big mistake. 'I must save my friend,' he said. So Ivan set off on a long, long journey to find Marya. On his trip, he met some helpful new friends. He met a big eagle that could fly high, high, high in the sky. He met a fast falcon that could swoop low, low, low. These new animal friends helped Ivan find a wise old woman who lived in the woods. The wise woman told Ivan a secret. She said, 'To rescue the princess, you must find a horse as fast as the wind.'

Ivan found the super-fast horse and jumped on its back. They raced like the wind to the gloomy castle and rescued Princess Marya. Hooray. They rode away so, so fast that the grumpy magician could not catch them. Ivan learned how to break Koschei’s magic, and the magician disappeared forever. They returned to their sunny castle, and everyone was happy and safe. This story shows that being brave and helping your friends is the best magic of all.
