Finishing Tasks

When I play with my toys, I make a happy mess. But when I am done, it's time to clean up. Putting my toys back where they belong is called finishing a job. It makes my room look nice and helps me feel proud of my hard work.

First, I look at all the blocks on the floor. I decide to start with the red one. I pick it up with my hands, walk to the big toy box, and drop it in. It makes a loud 'clunk' sound! Then I get a blue one, and a yellow one, until no blocks are left on the floor.

Now my job is all done. Finishing a job like cleaning up is important because it helps keep my room neat so I can find my toys next time. When I finish my work, I feel proud, and then I am ready to go play again!
