Storypie is partnering with the Willoughby–Eastlake Public Library system (WEPL), across all four branches: Eastlake, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, and Willowick.
We built Storypie to live in real families’ lives—on car rides, at bedtime, in classrooms, and yes, inside libraries. So we’re thrilled to share a new chapter close to home.

Together, we’re making it even easier for local families to turn everyday screen time into growth time—with a special perk just for WEPL cardholders.
What This Partnership Means for Families
Willoughby–Eastlake Public Library is a school-district library serving seven Lake County communities, offering books, eResources, and research tools through WE247.org.
Storypie adds an extra layer on top of that:
Friendly first-person audio stories that let kids hear from “Albert Einstein,” “Cleopatra,” “Tim Berners-Lee,” and more—told at the right depth for their age. Check out the biography for Albert Einstein for 3-12 year olds by clicking here.
A full Learn & Explore library of age-banded educational stories across 12 categories including Biographies, Concepts, Events, Inventions, Mathematics, Mythology, Places, Science, and more. Click here to Learn & Explore.
Create mode, where children can generate adventures starring themselves, complete with narration, illustrations, and printable coloring pages in about a minute.
27 supported languages across text and audio, designed for ages 3–12.
Now, if you’re a WEPL cardholder, you can connect all of that directly with your local library card.

Designed for Different Learning Styles
One of the reasons this partnership makes sense for a library setting is how many formats Storypie brings together in one place:
Different formats for different learning styles – Kids can listen to audio, read on-screen text, answer gentle questions and answers, and use printable workbooks and coloring pages. That mix supports listeners, readers, doodlers, and hands-on learners alike.
Short, rich entries – Many Learn & Explore stories are the length of a few pages but packed with context, dates, and comprehension prompts—perfect for ride to the library, between activities, or as a springboard into deeper book-based research.
Connected to what kids are already curious about – The same big topics you’ll see on WEPL shelves—moon landings, famous artists, Greek myths, fractions, engineering—are available in Storypie as first-person stories with age-tailored stories from 3–5, 6–8, 8–10, and 10–12.

How Storypie + WEPL Work Together
From our side, we see this partnership as a loop:
Spark curiosity in Storypie
A child listens to a story about Tim Berners-Lee and the web, or Athena and Poseidon, or fractions as “pieces of a whole.”Head to the library (physically or online)
Families use WEPL’s catalog, databases, and staff expertise to go deeper with books, videos, and research tools.Come back to Storypie to reinforce learning
Kids revisit a topic in another age band, answer new questions, or create a personal adventure that weaves in what they’ve learned.
It’s a cycle of listen → explore → create that keeps both the library and the app at the center of a child’s learning journey.
Looking Ahead: More Access in 2026
This initial rollout focuses on giving every WEPL cardholder an extra free Storypie story and making it easy to discover us from WE247.org and in-branch QR codes.
In 2026, we’ll be strengthening this partnership even further, with plans to:
Expand in-library access and programming that uses Storypie alongside WEPL’s print and digital collections.
Offer more library-specific benefits for Willoughby–Eastlake patrons.
Create program ideas and resources for librarians to pair Storypie stories with STEM builds, writing prompts, and art activities.
We’ll share more details as those new phases roll out.
We’re incredibly proud to see Storypie sitting alongside books, eBooks, and research databases at Willoughby–Eastlake Public Library. If you’re a librarian, educator, or parent in the district and want to collaborate further, we’d love to hear from you.
