Just want World Wildlife Fund?
Hello! We are the World Wildlife Fund. Our job is to help protect animals and the special places they call home. We want to make sure that all the wonderful creatures on our planet are safe and happy.
Have you ever seen a picture of a giant panda? A big, gentle bear that is black and white? That is our special logo! We chose the panda because it is a very special animal that we helped. We started our work a long time ago, in 1961. Since then, we have been busy helping wildlife all over the world.
We look after all kinds of animals. We help big elephants who stomp through the grass and brave tigers with beautiful stripes. We also help giant whales who swim deep in the blue ocean. Animals need safe homes to live, just like you do. So, we also work to protect their homes, like green forests and sparkling seas.
We cannot do this big job all by ourselves. We work together with people everywhere. We help grown-ups find good ways for people and animals to share our world. By working as a team, we help keep our planet healthy for you, for your friends, and for all the animals in the future.
