The story

I am Honesty

Hi. My name is Honesty. I am the choice you make to tell the truth. When you tell someone what really happened, you are using me, and it's a very strong and kind thing to do.

Sometimes it feels hard to be honest. Maybe you accidentally broke a crayon or ate a yummy cookie before dinner time. You might feel a little worried or scared to tell a grown-up what happened. That feeling is okay, but I am here to help you be brave.

When you take a deep breath and decide to tell the truth, something wonderful happens. Your heart feels light and proud inside. The grown-up might be a little sad about the crayon, but they will be so happy and proud of you for being honest. They will give you a big hug because they can trust you.

I help you build friendships that are strong, like a tower of building blocks. Being honest helps people trust you, and it makes you feel good about yourself. I am always here to help you make the truthful choice. I learned that telling the truth makes my heart feel happy and I am always growing and learning how to be brave and honest every day.
